Why does reducing something familiar to a much smaller scale make it so appealing?

I don’t know, but these AR-15 mini lowers made by Kent Durree and buddies are just that size-is-everything factor:


These mini-lowers are 80% complete “paper weights”…


Compared to the full-sized article you can see how small they are…


With CNC, may as well make some for friends…


Put one on your keychain and wait for the inevitable questions the next time you open a beer in a crowded place…
