When I first started getting into CNC, I was surprised at how many artists have taken to the medium. There are some truly amazing works out there that couldn’t have been done without help from CNC. Take Phil Abernethy’s beautiful clocks, for example. Each one is different, and they’re all done with a very modern flair. They’re definitely Art–just check out Abernethy’s YouTube channel to see a variety of dazzling works, or his web site. Here are some of my favorites:

Be sure to visit Phil’s web site and the YouTube channel. There are many more gorgeous examples of his Art. Meanwhile, here is a tour of his workshop and processes. There is even mention of G-Wizard: Phil is a customer.
