CNCCookbook Machinist's Search

The CNCCookbook Machinist's Search is a Google Custom Search Engine that emphasizes trusted sites we've found to have good content for machinist's over the normal Google search results. You still get the normal results too, it's just these are ranked higher.

Why do that?

The Internet is an increasingly noisy and spammy place. By emphasizing the sites that have given us good information in the past, we can hopefully get to better search results sooner. These sites were found in the process of researching the thousand pages of content that is CNCCookbook. They include great online Machinist's forums like Practical Machinist and CNCZone, Manufacturer's sites that have good technical information and not just a lot of marketing, and various other sites that have come in handy in the past.
